Flora Event Deco

Botanical styling and event décor with logistical care

Bespoke floral design and event décor that blends botanical artistry with operational precision

We craft immersive event environments using seasonal flowers, textural foliage and considered decorative elements. Our service spans intimate ceremonies to large-scale receptions and includes design concepting, sample mockups, production scheduling and on-site installation. Each project begins with a creative brief and finishes with a precise handover: clear care notes, breakdown of temporary installations and post-event deinstallation scheduling. Our approach balances aesthetic imagination with practical logistics so clients can enjoy beautiful settings without operational stress.

Floral palettes are selected for visual harmony, longevity and scent profile, while structural elements — arches, hanging installations, table runners and botanical pathways — are engineered for safe installation and discreet integration with venue fabric. We prioritize local growers and seasonal availability to ensure fresher stems and lower transport impact, while offering options for imported, specialty blooms when design intent requires.

About the studio — design practice, floral craft and event logistics

Our studio is a collective of florists, set designers and production managers who specialise in translating a client's intent into an orchestrated event environment. We combine botanical knowledge—understanding how specific stems behave, how scent evolves across the day, and how different foliages age in a vase—with robust production planning: sourcing, staging, transport, rigging and safe installation. The result is not only an image, but a reliably delivered experience that stands up across weather variability, guest movement and the runtime of an event.

We offer three main engagement styles: full production (end-to-end design, procurement and installation), creative direction with local execution (where we supply designs and a local team executes), and consultative planning for clients who already run an in-house styling operation. For each role we provide documentation — scaled layout plans, installation drawings, material lists and a deployment timeline — so the venue, vendors and client share a single reference during execution.

Sustainable practice is embedded in our workflows: we prioritize growers who use regenerative practices, choose reusable structural elements where possible, reuse durable props across events, and design installations to be disassembled with minimal waste. For floral waste we partner with local composting services and explore creative re-use — such as donating undamaged arrangements to community centres after an event when feasible.

Advantages — what we bring to every event

Design-driven cohesion across all event elements

We ensure floral choices, linen palettes, furniture and lighting plans form a cohesive visual narrative. Our design process maps colour, texture and material so that floral compositions read harmoniously within the venue architecture. This unified approach reduces last-minute changes and ensures that each installation supports the event’s intended atmosphere rather than competing with other visual cues.

Operational reliability and clear staging plans

Logistics are planned to the minute: staging windows, vehicle access, indoor route clearances and safe rigging points are documented and agreed with venues in advance. On-site, our production managers coordinate vendor arrivals, oversee load-in and manage sequencing to avoid clashes and ensure timely handover for event start.

Local sourcing and seasonal strength

We develop relationships with regional growers to secure seasonal stems, which enhances freshness, lowers transport impact and supports local agriculture. This practice allows us to prioritize varieties that perform best in the local climate and to craft palettes that reflect the season authentically and sustainably.

Safety-first installations and structurally-sound rigs

Hanging installations and heavy arches are engineered to certified specifications and installed using rated fixings. We carry out load calculations, use approved hardware and employ qualified riggers for any suspension work. Safety is a non-negotiable element of our practice so installations remain stable throughout the event and during guest activity.

Transparent cost structures and clear options

Pricing is presented with clear line items—design, stems, structural elements, on-site labour and transport—so clients can make informed trade-offs between aesthetics, scale, and budget. We offer staged options (core, elevated, showpiece) that let clients visualise the impact of incremental enhancements.

Post-event care and responsible break-down

After the event we coordinate breakdown efficiently, reclaim reusable props and arrange for ethical disposal or composting of green waste. When possible, undamaged arrangements can be repurposed or donated in accordance with the client’s brief and venue permissions, extending the life of materials and reducing landfill.
